Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, receive portable information, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
These rights depend on the circumstances and may have lawful exceptions. We will explain any limit that applies to a request.
Information covered by a request
A request may cover Discord-linked account details, Fashion Wars submissions and votes, private participation-ledger events and Dispatch-attribution fields, structured LFG posts and memberships, private map treasure-hunt progress and bounded attempt counters, moderation records, saved map progress, filter presets, private custom farm markers, correspondence, and relevant security records associated with you.
Public Guild Wars character details or screenshots may still contain information that is not personal data, belongs to another person, or must be retained for a lawful reason.
How to make a request
Email security@gwrevival.com with the subject “Data rights request”. Describe the right you want to exercise and identify the Discord account used to sign in.
Do not send your Discord password, authentication token, or unnecessary identity documents. We will ask only for information reasonably needed to locate records and verify that the request concerns you.
Verification and response time
To protect members, we may ask you to confirm control of the linked Discord account or respond from the verified account email. An authorised representative may need to provide evidence of authority.
We aim to respond without undue delay and normally within one month. Complex or numerous requests may take longer where the law permits; if so, we will explain the extension.
Deletion and retention limits
You may ask for an export of identifiable participation events and Dispatch-attribution fields associated with your account. A participation-data or account-deletion request normally removes member-owned participation events and private map data that are no longer needed to operate the service. Non-identifying aggregate totals may remain because they cannot identify you.
Account deletion normally removes or anonymises information no longer needed to operate the service. Some information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, moderation integrity, or protected freedom of expression. Participation-ledger retention is planned as 24 months from each event, subject to formal legal review before production launch.
Deleting LFG data normally removes member-owned active posts and memberships that are no longer operationally needed. Minimum restricted moderation or safety evidence may remain for the approved moderation period, after which it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Deleting treasure-hunt participation normally removes private progress and associated member linkage that are no longer needed. Anonymous aggregate totals may remain only where they cannot identify or reconstruct an individual participant.
Copies may remain temporarily in secure backups until their normal replacement cycle. Public content will be assessed separately because removing an account does not always require deletion of every historical or non-personal record.
