Terms of Use

By using Guild Wars Revival or signing in with Discord, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use member-only features.

You must be legally able to agree to these terms in your country. If you are under the applicable age of digital consent, a parent or guardian must approve your use of the service.

Treat other members with respect. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, spam, exploit the service, evade restrictions, or upload unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, malicious, or privacy-invasive material.

Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, automate abusive traffic, manipulate votes, or use another person's account.

You are responsible for control of the Discord account used to sign in and for activity performed through your Guild Wars Revival account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

We may restrict duplicate, fraudulent, compromised, or abusive accounts to protect members and contest integrity.

Member-only challenges, hunts, Dispatches, LFG, and other community features may record successful participation so we can operate the feature and measure community activity. We do not count visits, clicks, sign-ins, failed attempts, or removed votes as participation.

Public challenge and participation results are anonymous by default. You may choose public attribution only where a feature presents that option and you have an approved public display name. You can turn that attribution off; this removes your public identity while non-identifying aggregate results may remain. Further detail appears in our Privacy Policy.

LFG is a closed structured pilot. Do not enter usernames, account names, personal contact information, or unsafe instructions. Group capacity includes the organiser. Members use the selected in-game rendezvous at the stated start time; Guild Wars Revival does not guarantee attendance, conduct, or successful completion. Organisers may keep only one active group, and groups may be cancelled, hidden, archived, or restricted for safety or abuse.

Map treasure hunts are limited community pilots. Hunt progress is private and clues must be completed in order using the supported map targets. Do not automate attempts, probe hidden solutions, interfere with other members, or exploit errors. Hunts may be corrected, cancelled, revealed, archived, or withdrawn. No prize, permanent ranking, public completion time, or guaranteed availability is offered.

Each round may have its own opening date, submission deadline, voting deadline, eligibility rules, and prize details. Unless a round states otherwise, each member may submit one look and may not vote for their own entry.

Submissions must accurately describe the shown character's armour, costume, weapons, and dyes. Vote manipulation, coordinated fake accounts, stolen screenshots, misleading entries, or attempts to bypass round limits may lead to disqualification.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You confirm that you created it or otherwise have permission to submit it and that publication will not infringe another person's rights.

You grant Guild Wars Revival a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, moderate, resize, display, reproduce, and promote an approved submission in connection with Fashion Wars and the community archive. This permission lasts while the content is published and for reasonable backups and historical records, subject to applicable data protection rights.

We may review, reject, hide, remove, or disqualify content and may suspend or ban accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, round rules, safety, or legal requirements. Moderation decisions may consider both the image and submission details independently.

We aim to act consistently but cannot guarantee advance notice or an appeal in every case. Contact us if you believe a decision was made in error.

Guild Wars Revival is provided by volunteers on an as-available basis. Features may change, pause, or close without guarantee. Links and integrations operated by third parties, including Discord and the Guild Wars Wiki, are governed by those providers.

Guild Wars Revival is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for ArenaNet, NCsoft, Discord, or linked community services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use, interruption, data loss, third-party services, community interactions, or reliance on site content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms when features, practices, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated reasonably where appropriate.
